Welcome

Welcome to All Saints Church, Boyne Hill, Maidenhead

It is always a pleasure for us as a community when people decide to discover more about the church of All Saints in Boyne Hill. Our hope is that you will explore our website to discover more about our worship, community and building, and then to come and visit. Our worship is at our core, but there are lots of other activities: for children, toddlers, bell-ringers, singers, those interested in helping in the local community and more. Our church is a Grade 1 listed building with an interesting history. Please take a look to find out more!

All Saints was designed by George Street, a leading Victorian architect. Street, alongside the first vicar The Revd William Gresley, wanted a church that encouraged worship to the glory of God, education of the young and pastoral care for those in need. To support this vision a church was built with a quadrangle that had curates houses, a school and Alms houses. In the 21st century, we still aim to worship God within a welcoming community, to serve and support our local schools and to meet the needs of the local community.

Should you visit for worship, we hope you will feel a sense of welcome and will quickly form friendships and feel able to begin or continue your journey as a Christian. Maybe, as you feel a sense of belonging, you will feel called to use your time and talents to share within the community.

Please introduce yourself to one of the welcomers on the way into church or to the priest who will greet you at the end of the service. We invite you to join us for refreshments following the service.

Our service booklets have a front cover highlighting the ‘Ripple Effect’. We pray that each of us, through discovering the love of Christ within our lives, will be encouraged to ripple out small acts of kindness to the wider community we serve. We hope that you will experience the love of Christ at All Saints and be encouraged to share the light of Christ with others.
