Pastoral Visits
Both the pastoral care and care home ministries are extremely rewarding ministries, offering ways of nurturing people in faith by sharing God’s love and enabling people, at whatever stage of life they find themselves, to ‘encounter Christ in Word and Sacrament”.
Care Homes
Communion is shared with residents at a number of local care homes. This is led by Fr Jeremy with support from members of the congregation.
We offer regular services to our care homes, Normanhurst, Larchfield and Clara Court. At Normanhurst and Clara Court we offer a monthly communion service.
The communion services take place on Wednesday mornings.
The services are tailored to the specific needs of the residents, using familiar hymns and readings which can trigger memories.
All the services we offer are well attended and seem to be much appreciated by not only the residents but also the care home staff.
Pastoral Care
We visit members of our church family either in their own homes, care homes or hospital settings. It is a great blessing to be able to share the Sacrament with them and allow them to feel joined together with our church community.

Maidenhead Care
Maidenhead Care is a charitable organisation supported by Churches Together in Maidenhead. Since 1985 it has provided a good neighbour scheme.
All Saints Church supports the scheme and some of our congregation are volunteers.
The principal request is for transport to medical appointments. Expenses for mileage can be claimed through the charity.
We are experiencing a growing demand in the community for volunteers to visit lonely people. Maidenhead Care aims to match volunteer interests to those of the client. All clients requesting visitors are risk assessed for Safeguarding purposes.
It is very sad to discover just how many people in our community, particularly those with mobility constraints, do not have regular contact with other people. A one-hour visit sharing a cup of tea with a client can be a highlight in their week.
