The Chapel Choir of St George's Ascot has a long history of performances both in this country and in churches, abbeys and cathedrals around Europe. The members sing at major charity events such as The Christmas Carol Service at St Paul's Covent Garden for Children in Crisis; as guests in concerts at Eton College and Wellington, and sing for Her Majesty The Queen and other members of The Royal Family at Sandringham and in the Private Chapel, Windsor Great Park.
Most recently, as part of their 20th Anniversary, they gave an orchestral and choral recital in Eton College Chapel. They sang at a Choral Eucharist for St Cecilia's Day at All Saints in the 150th Year, 2007.
At St George's School, in addition to singing for the Sunday Eucharist services, Choral Evensong and Compline, the Choir gives, together with instrumentalists, three major concerts each year as well as several informal recitals.
They will be recording a new CD in April in Douai Abbey and in July will be on tour in Catalonia singing in the cathedrals in Barcelona, and Solsona, Montserrat Abbey and Agramunt.
